This air performance test device is mainly designed for the “Exhaust Range Hood Air Performance Test Device“ in Appendix C of GB/T17713-2011 “Range Hood“ standard. This device can only be used for testing “Exhaust Range Hood“ and cannot be used for testing “Circulating Range Hood“.

DESCRIPTION

Range Hood Airflow Laboratory

I. Equipment Introduction:

This device is an airflow measurement system developed and manufactured according to standards such as GB/T 17713-2011 "Rain Hoods" and GB/T14806-2003 "Household and Similar Purpose AC Exhaust Fans and Their Speed Regulators". This air performance testing device is mainly for the "Air Performance Testing Device for External Exhaust Range Hoods" in Appendix C of GB/T17713-2011 "Rain Hoods" standard. This device can only be used to test "external exhaust range hoods" and cannot be used for testing "recirculating range hoods".

The testing device mainly consists of a test air duct, a control cabinet, and a host computer processing system. The test air duct consists of a transition pipe, rectifier, diffuser, pressure reducing cylinder (regulator), movable support, sampling connector, and orifice plate, etc.; the control cabinet contains various sampling instruments, operating status indicator lights, and various control switches, etc.

The equipment air duct is made entirely of stainless steel, with an aesthetically pleasing appearance and a reasonable internal layout. The main control instruments and valves are imported. The system employs a computer-automated control method, requiring only manual installation of the sample and replacement of the orifice plate. Testing a single sample takes only ten minutes. It can plot curves corresponding to static pressure, airflow, and efficiency.

It features convenience, speed, stability, reliability, and good reproducibility. It meets the testing requirements for research and production processes of related products.


II. Main Technical Performance Indicators:

1. Application: Primarily used for airflow testing of range hoods.

2. Design Basis: Relevant requirements in Appendix C of GB_17713-2011 "Range Hoods";

3. Testing Principle: The actual working state of the sample is simulated in a test wind tunnel. The orifice plate diameter at the air outlet is varied, and the static pressure value at the outlet is measured each time. The corresponding flow coefficient and airflow parameters are then calculated using standard formulas.
