makeAPPH stands on a horizontal testing plane and applies a force of ± 3% as determined by the formula in Table 6, or any greater force specified by the manufacturer, to align its line of action with the support surface of the arm support as shown in Figures 18 and 19, using the concave loading pad specified in 4.8.12.1.
