DESCRIPTION

Clean Air Output Rate (CADR)

The clean air output rate test is a testing procedure used to measure the performance of air purifiers. In the ANSI/AHAM AC-1 standard, the clean air output rate is an indicator of the pollution-free air output capability of portable indoor electric air purifiers, measured in cubic feet per minute (cfm). From a technical perspective, the clean air output rate refers to the testing room after the air purifier is turned on

The reduction rate of pollutants minus the natural decay when the purifier is not working multiplied by the volume of the test chamber measured in cubic feet (see Section 8.5). CADR is a measure of the overall performance of a purifier, and there is no linear relationship between CADR and the characteristics of air circulation itself or the removal method of a certain particulate matter.

Technical Specifications:
