1.3Test requirements
In the above standards, the requirements for battery compression testing are slightly different. The battery compression testing device needs to meet all of the following test requirements:
1)The battery is squeezed between two planes, and the squeezing force is applied through a servo motor and a turbine screw lift, with a force of 13kN. When the maximum pressure is reached, the pressure is released.
2)The squeezing equipment should be able to provide a squeezing force of 13000 ± 20N on all test surfaces of the battery. Design according to customer requirements: Extrusion method: A: The bottom surface is a flat plate, and the top surface is an R7.9 steel structure at the end. The battery is extruded radially, with the circular surface perpendicular to the battery axis, until the thickness of the battery is 1/4 of the diameter of the test battery; B: The bottom surface is a flat plate, and the top surface is a steel flat plate that vertically compresses the battery until it reaches 13 ± 0.78KN Place the battery between the bottom and top surfaces for compression.

One channel of temperature collection and one channel of voltage collection are used, and the data output frequency is ≥ 2 times/second
18) Voltage test: Test range: 0-100V; Test accuracy: ± 0.5% F.S; Data collection frequency: ≥ 100 times/second;
19)Data display and export: Real time voltage, temperature, and needle pressure test data can be displayed on the Siemens touch screen on the testing equipment. The experimental data is stored in TXT format and can be exported through a USB port.
2.2 Main functions
1)The battery extrusion needle punching test machine adopts a fully enclosed box structure, and the extrusion needle punching working chamber is isolated from the mechanical and electrical parts of the equipment body (except for the hydraulic rod piston extension shaft).
2)The squeezing needle punching working chamber has explosion-proof and exhaust functions, which can instantly release the pressure generated by the sample explosion and discharge the smoke and dust generated by the explosion.
3)The working chamber of the battery squeeze needle testing machine has moderate corrosion resistance and easy cleaning functions, and can withstand the erosion of corrosive liquids generated by battery explosions, making it easy to clean.
4)The battery extrusion needle testing machine adoptsSiemens touch screen from GermanyThe control method, pressure value, and holding time are programmable and fully comply with the test requirements specified in section 1.2.
5)Install an observation window with bulletproof function in the squeezing needle punching working chamber to monitor the impact process;

2.3Features of chassis
1.This device adopts a fully enclosed frame and insulation board box structure, and the inner tank material is designed with 304 stainless steel plate δ 1 sealing structure. It is divided into an extrusion working chamber and other parts of the equipment body as a whole. The shell process adopts cold-rolled steel plate δ 1.2 baking paint process.
2.The material used for the inner liner of the squeezing needle punching working chamber is corrosion-resistant insulation material. The corners of the working chamber are designed with rounded lines, and there are no seams or connections at the corners. The working chamber is equipped with drainage holes and a filter screen for easy cleaning. The working chamber liner is detachable as a whole, making it easy to replace during maintenance.
3The squeezing needle punching working chamber has explosion-proof and exhaust functions. Due to the possibility of fire or even explosion during battery testing, the energy released by a single battery explosion is 52078J. The energy released by a module battery explosion is ≥ 781170 J. If an explosion occurs, it may harm people and things around during the testing process. Based on the above explosion release energy situation, the explosion-proof box should be able to meet this explosion-proof requirement. By isolating from other parts of the device body, achieve explosion-proof function; Instantaneous release of explosive pressure is achieved through the mechanical strength weak links designed by the working chamber (such as destructive thin plate flipping structure); By activating the strong smoke exhaust duct of the equipment, the fixed-point emission of harmful smoke and dust can be achieved.
4.Provide observation windows for observing the experimental process and built-in explosion-proof lighting fixtures in the working chamber. The observation window adopts a double-layer glass structure, with tempered glass on the inner layer, air isolation in the middle, and bulletproof glass on the outer layer. The inner tempered glass is easy to replace.
5.Four corner wheels (two universal and two directional) are installed at the bottom of the battery extrusion needle testing machine, and a fixed foot with adjustable height is also added.
6.The standard color for the casing of the battery extrusion needle punching test machine is silver gray, or it can be agreed upon by both parties (or provided by the purchaser).
3 Installation requirements
The purchaser shall provide an exhaust flue.
Alternatively, according to specific requirements, the supplier may separately design, manufacture, and install exhaust gas treatment units and smoke exhaust pipelines.
